Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>Hydrography Single Line Network (SLNET) represents surface water and arbitrary network connectors with a single line representation. This dataset contains all captured single line representations of hydrographic features as well as single line representations of polygonal features created by the Government of Alberta for their 20K Base Features Database. In specific instances, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has modified or added to this dataset to reflect the current state of surface water in an area within the RMWB. In cases where it is apparent that a stream or water channel has been forced underground, such as in urban areas, the prefix Former has been applied to the features hydrological type.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Arbitrary flow lines were created from a digital elevation model and, where required, were manually generated to connect hydrography features that displayed insufficient flows from automated processing.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>SLNET Feature Types:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>perennial stream, indefinite stream, recurring stream (intermittent), lake primary flow representation, major river - primary flow representation, river major - secondary flow representation, perennial oxbow, recurring oxbow (intermittent), major canal, ditch, and arbitrary flows.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>The RMWB added a feature type to indicate where a channel connects to a larger river. The prupose of this category is for labelling.
